Replacement Accessories for Your Smart Pet Water Fountain

Choose a 12-piece filter pack or a single heating rod for the compatible Smart Pet Water Fountain with Optional UV & Heating. These are separate accessory options, not a combined set. The water fountain is not included.

• 12 Pieces of Filter Cotton: Includes 12 replacement filter elements. Heating rod not included.
• 8689 [Heating Rod] Single: One heating rod for a compatible fountain model. Filter pack not included.

Filter Construction

The existing product information lists five filtration layers:

• High-density filter cotton to help capture hair and larger debris.
• Coconut shell activated carbon to help reduce odors and residual chlorine.
• Cation exchange resin to help soften water.
• A second filter-cotton layer for additional debris filtration.
• A sponge layer to help trap remaining particles.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Compare the accessory’s shape, size and model with your existing part. Heating-rod compatibility, power requirements and installation must be checked against your fountain’s instructions. Compatibility with other fountain models is not confirmed.

Filter Preparation & Care

The existing care guidance recommends soaking the filter in clean water for 5–10 minutes and rinsing thoroughly before installation. Replace approximately every 2–4 weeks, adjusting for water quality, usage and the manufacturer’s instructions. Filtration does not sterilize water or replace regular fountain cleaning.

Heating Rod Use

Follow the compatible fountain manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions. Disconnect power before installing, removing or cleaning the accessory.
